Hot Start Help! Hey fellas. I am a rookie when it comes to this but I had a question about my car. I recently had a cam and longtubes installed. It took my tuner forever to get this dialed in. Everything runs great except for the hot starts. When it's hot out and I run the car for a bit it does not want to start unless you get on the gas. When it finally does want to kick over I get a little smoke cloud. My tuner is telling me I have bad injectors? I don't know why it's fine on a cold start. You guys have some great answers so I hope to hear from you.

Hi, Just guessing. Coolant temp sensor could be bad. It could be giving a reading that it's cold. When the engine is actually warmed up, you get extra gas thats called for when it's cold. Dave
