fuel pump help
fuel pump help OK I did a search and still cant find what I am looking for.
I just installed the wallbro pump kit from Nasty. I ended up putting a tear in the new "straw" line from the pump to the to of the assembly. I am going to replace it with a 5/16 diameter fuel injection line. Does anyone know of this being done before and if it works ok?
My second problem is with the fuel sock. When I took the stock unit apart there was a sock on the bottom of the bucket and one on the bottom of the pump. The one on the bottom of the bucket got damaged taking the thing out of the tank, and the one on the pump had to be replaced. I can not find a part number anywhere for just the sock. If there is already a sock on the bottom of the pump what does the one on the bottom of the bucket do? Would it be ok to run with just the one on there and not the other?
