a 58 Holley t/b question

I traded a guy a 52 t/b for a 58 holy t/b. when I put it on the throttle plates will not fully open, due to the cable is too long. it was fine on the 52 but after this 58 install the cable seems to be a inch to 1 1/2 too long. on a 95 firebird the cable is not ajustable. is there a different throttle cable different i can get? was wandering if the ls1 cables are adjustable and if they will fit a 95.

I see the cable for a ASR unit is adjustable. I do not have it so any ideas. May have to make spacers for yjr cable inside near pedal. Anyone got any good ideas?

Just a thought, but did you remember to open up the ports on the intake manifold? They are only 52 mm from the factory.

using a le2 ported intake 58 mil opened to. when i let of the throtal ther is like 1 to 1/2 inch play in the cabel.or a lot of slack .it isent ther with the stock or 52 and i reinstaled the stock and its fine isent 6that weerd,and the cabel wants to com out of the holder whar the round part is at it is like it is made for a biger bal cabel .and im a teck of 34 yers so its not like i havent don tbis befor i thot it was just bad work men ship i ges i am right
