Default Losing 20 psi bliping the throttle.

Hey I just got my conversion done on the lt1 to ls1 swap. Im running lt1 factory lines off the fuel tank, they go into a vette filter with the built in reg. The fuel pump is outta a 01 ws6. With the motor ideling the pressure stays a constant 59psi. I was curious the other day so I put the gauge on this and checked it with the engine running in nuetral I blipped the throttle and it dropped to 45 psi. I checked to see if the fuel was bleeding off but it wasnt doing that either. My guess is the pump is weak. Anything else to try or does everyone agree?

The pump is weak or the reg is either fubar, or cant keep up with the demands. Ditch it and put a Walbro pump with an external reg on? (SX Performance or Aeromotive)

Im guessing the pump since the ls1 vettes dont have any trouble keeping fp using the filter as a reg.
