Default goes lean at 5500

put my car on the dyno for the first time today. and it only made 364 hp and went way lean at 5500 rpm's.its a 98 z28 with tea 5.3 stg 1.5 heads ls6 intake and an mti b1 cam(221 221,559 559,on a 114).it has headers and all your other average bs too.its got a mail order tune from mti,and its never been on a dyno untill today.from what i've read on here i think it might be maxing out the injectors (they are stock).i have no way to check the duty cycle,it was on a friend of mines dyno and he deals mostly with carburated stuff.what do you guys think? i'm kinda new to the whole fuel injected tuning thing.

Is your car an auto? I never trust dynos with auto cars. If it's an auto it is very possible that you are putting out more than 364. If 364 is your true horsepower it's a little low to be maxing out your injectors.

I did 415 rwhp on my friends stock fuel system at 90% duty cycle.

I would change your fuel filter.

nope its a 6 speed.i figured it should put down around 400,and i'm sure it could do better with a dyno tune.it'll be back onn the dyno this weekend with a fuel pressure guage on it,i also changed the fuel filter today.if the fuel pressure dosen't drop when it goes lean i would say its probably the injectors.what do ya'll think?

The fuel pressure gauge is your next step in this journey, so your thinking is correct IMO. If it drops more than a couple psi at WOT, then that is probably a lot of your problem. If you don't feel like fixing the pressure drop, you can just drop in larger injectors and tune for them to make up the difference.
