I have a 97 corvette with return style fuel rail. I am changing the engine out for a LS7 based 427. Should I change this system out to the newer style or will this be sufficient?

 

It will be fine you just need to modify it a little. Which intake manifold are you running?

I am thinking about using a LS7 with LS7 heads. If I dont go that route it will probably be L92 with L76 of comparable.

 

Will this rail fit on a LS7 intake?

 

No the stock 98 rail will not fit that intake. We make billet rails that will fit those intakes. What car is it going into? Give me a call I will be able to set you up with the correct parts you need to make it work.

It is going into my 97 C5 vette. I am going to run a LS7 intake but have the return style fuel rail.

 

i had a 97-98 vette fuel rail for my old combo. i went with a L76 intake and was able to reuse the 97-98 vette rail to work with the L76 intake. i tweaked the mounting tabs alittle and added a nylon spacer to take up the distance.
