Use a propane or map gas torch to heat up the cups that are in the driveshaft. They have a nylon injected into them to retain the cups. use a hammer, rubber dead blow on aluminum, and hold the oposite u-joint in a vise and hammer the cups out. Use a file to clean up inside the 2 machined pockets that retain th eclips and clean out any nylon that might be present where the new cups go. Use a vise to press the new cups into the trunions and make sure no needle bearings fall inside, apply some grease to help them stay in. NOTE: If you are installing a new style Spicer tripple seal u0joint you are not to add any grease inside the cups. You will crack a cap once the u-joint gets up to operating temp.
