Default 3rd gen 12 bolt

hey, i found a 3rd gen 12 bolt for CHEAP so im looking into what i will need to do for this... its a moser 12 bolt, eaton posi, 4.11, 33 spline and a 1350 yoke...

i did some searched but couldnt find exactly what i wanted...

Will my stock driveshaft work with this?
Will i need a conversion or something to get my stock DS to work?
He has a matching DS that he used in his T-5, will that work for my T-56?
It has 93-97 Disk Brakes? will this work on mine, or will i need to swap my 98-02 disk brakes? will this cost me having to get backing plates?

i need this info quick, i told the guy id call him back pretty soon..

If his stock driveshaft worked for him yes yours will work. I know you will need diff u joints tho.

The brakes dont matter the only huge difference/ gaing with 98+ rear brakes are the ebrake design

so the brakes are easy,
- but what about the DS he has, he used it on his T-5 and he claims itll work on a 700R4, will this work with my T56?
- whats the length of the stock DS vs the one people usually get for 12 bolts? (to compare)
- anyone know where id be able to get the different u joint?

I cant tell youthe length but I can definatly say if it fits a 3rd gen auto it will fit a 4th gen because alot of guys swap 1le aluminum drive shafts from 3rd gens on to 4th gens as well as the other way around.

awesome, maybe ill try to get this guy to through in the driveshaft, sweaten the deal a little more and wont have to worry about length or getting a 1310/1350 u joint

talked to the guy a lil more, it was in a sprayed 383 stoker with a 700r4 with a converter into this rear, then his 400 to t5 to this rear.....

gana pull the cover to make sure the whine isnt something to be worried about... didnt ask about the driveshaft, figure if i get it great, see if it fits, if not 25$ isnt too bad
