Default Grinding Noise While Crusing

So yeah I think my rear-end is about to die on me. The car had I think a Moser 9", but when he wanted to sell it he put a stocker back in there, so I have no idea how many miles are on it. I know that he killed the original.

My question is what to do? Should I get one from a junkyard? Have it built up? The car will never have insane power levels; probably just a cam only car. I can't afford a $3000 rear-end. Any advice?

if you're getting a cam, that probably means you're gonna race.If you're gonna race, you're gonna want sticky tires. If you punish the OEM 10 bolt with power, tires, and an M6,it won't last.'building up' a stocker is throwing money away.Junkyard or build a stocker inexpensively to just be able to drive it and save for 12 bolt/9".Enjoy the SS till then but don't abuse it.
