which gears... ...have you guys had the best luck with not breaking? i want a set of 4.10's for my stock t/a. my car only has 57k miles on it so i'm not going internal any time soon and making huge power so i dont see the need for a 9" yet. i was just wondering which brand seems to hold up the best. should i get a new posi while i'm in there? or just the gears?

I wouldn't waste money on a new posi...if you want some gears, just pick a brand and go for it.
They are all equal really, it's the small size that is the reason for breaking. Especially with a 6spd, just start stashing some money under your pillow for the new rearend.

i think i'm going with richmond. What else is required for the install? i know cover gasket, pinion seal, crush sleeve, pinion shims, pinion nut.. are new ring gear bolts required or recommended? how about carrier shims and bearings and pinion bearing?
