Default Help With Making My Decision....

Ok....so i was at the track Sunday with my car and I was able to get a few runs in before i grenaded my posi. It was the eaton locker. Now before you guys tell me to go out and buy a 12bolt or 9" I'm not going too. I'm saving weight for the time being. Now all I want is some input. I called Eaton and they offer the rebuild kit for a nice lovely price of $259.95. So I decided to think abot going with a mini spool from Richmond which would run me roughly $92.95. The car is my street car and made 347/369 on a dyno pac last July. Currently my rear has a Richmond 4.10 gear set with moser axels, both are completely fine. Just I'm not sure if I want to spend $250+ for something I already broke or throw a spool in it to take the beating....let me know what you all think.....

depends on how long you want the thing to last. if you broke one that just means you can break another. the rebuild kit im sure will give you a good amount of time but do you want to risk it? but then again $250+ aint all that much. spool would work but still just a matter of how much longer? my personal opinion is 9" if youre a 6 speed and 12 bolt if youre an auto, do it right the first time...but if money is an issue and you need something now than id say get the spool and start saving $$

The Moser M9 is the same weight as the 10 bolt, here is a link to it.
