I am glad that PST did that for you.

That's exactly why I went with EPP and PST for my new DS after twisting the splines in a Denny's N2o DS(yes I know it twists because DS is to short but the Denny's came with the car and I never knew it was too short)

No doubt, we will be running a wheelie bar this year if whatever class we run allows one.

got the fixed shaft in last night. PST didn't just replace the yoke, they also got the shaft all cleaned up and purdy.

i havent driven it on the street yet, just filled the tranny with fluid and ran it on the jack stands for a new mins to check for noises. Seems like its a little notchy to get between gears (moreso than regular ), but i'm hoping thats just because the tranny has been sitting dry for a week and the internals just need to get wet and lubed up again. usually a new batch of syncromesh makes it shift like butta.

no ennis for me this weekend. i'm going to recheck the pinion angle since i had to take all that apart, and then get some street driving in to make sure there arent any weird vibrations/issues.

got it all back together and took it for a drive last night. was very hard, if not impossible at times to get in some gears. rather inconsistent. pumping the clutch a few times often helped. i'm going to try bleeding the clutch, but i fail to see how the two events are connected.

opening a new thread in the manual transmission forum to get further insight.

poorly.

this thread was the FIRST time the slip yoke broke. it broke a 2nd time a month later. come to find out, the culprit was the torque arm mount bolts coming loose. due to my negligence, i stopped checking the torque spec on them after a couple months of them never moving.

in the 2nd round, i broke the slip yoke, the torque arm mount, and now that i have it all back together, i have a weird clunking noise from my driveline. its either u-joints, or the rear end. im actually going to a driveshaft shop today to have the shaft re-balanced and have the u-joints inspected.
