What are the differences between a Mosar & Strange 12bolt? Is one stronger then the other? I just want to get rid of this 10bolt very soon, so sorry if this has been asked before.

 

I think it´s moser that makes their own housing that is much stronger than the OEM 12 bolts. I saw a mag article on it once anyway. It showed all the places that it was thicker than stock. I don´t know about the strange housing........but maybe I've got them backwards and the article was about the strange housing lol

 

Moser uses 4 small bolts to hold the torque arm on, Strange uses 2 long bolts like stock.

 

The torque arm mounting method on the moser is NOTORIOUS for problems. Strange uses the stock style 2 long bolts so you dont have the problems associated with the moser. Many torque arm companys flat out will not warranty their torque arms with teh moser 12 due to the questionable design.

Only reason moser sells so many 12 bolts is they can get em out the door in 2 days whereas strange has usually around a month or so lead time on a rearend. If strange could put a rearend out the door in 2 days they would own the 12 bolt market I think.
