i do enjoy my 4.10's but if i had to do it again i would def go 3.73 since mine is a DD car that sees mostly freeway driving, the 4.10's are a blast in town but kinda suck on the freeway and i have thrown quite a bit of suspension at the car but still cant hook off the launch with my drag radials

Why replace what's not broke?? My buddy has the stock 10 bolt on his z28 pushing well over 400@ the rear and it's held up for 3 seasons at the track with monster launches. Just swap in some 4.10's and call it good. If the rear goes then it goes. No point spending a bunch of money on a new rear when yours is fine. Just my .2

Well I haven't put one of these in personally but Ill send my buddy your way he put his in on the ground. Do a search you should come up with some instructions or a thread where they did the swap.

Nothing but nuts and bolts... really its just heavy, you might have to get a friend to help you get it into place but I did it on the ground by myself with hand tools. You will have to reuse your backing plates from your old rear end and have the bearings pressed onto the alxes by someone with a press.
