ding ding, round two...what gears... Finally ive got the money to finish up this years car stuff...my question is...with in the next two-three weeks i will be installing...
-intake pp t/b
-polluter cam from tick perf.
-hsw dual wet...dunno what size yet prolly 100 shot
-+duh...all tuning
Soooo what size gears do you recomend and brand, Ive drove the same car as mine with 3.73s and they felt like stock. My car is m6 on stock 17s. I was thinking of 3.90s but joey at tick says 4.11s due to the cam. Ive also heard 4.11s are weaker or some ****? i just thought id go inbetween and get a 3.90???
What do you think? I dont daily drive it i, Id say three track visits a year. About one year till my 9in. and how much will it cost???

for the streets i would say 3.90 to 4.10s. if you are going to the track on the spray you will prolly run out of 4th without going with a taller tire. so determine what your plans are and then make your decision.

i prolly will only run stock size tire. and when me n my buddys cruise well usally go for longer trips...so with muset up above with a 4.11 you think ill run out of gear in the quater in fourth? cus we only have 1/4 mile tracks around here...unless i dont know of them...im thinking 3.90
4.11's. Personally i think any gear change in the 10 bolt will make it weaker. To me 3.90's with a M6 don't feel much different then the 3.42's. Also with a cam that large, you will want the better driveability of the lower gearing. Sounds like more of a driver, and less of a track car....so what if u run out of gear on spray at the track. 4.11's, 26" tire, and 7k revlimit will let u go 130 in 4th.
