MWC 9" install: E-brake cable configuration question
The original configuration on the E brake cables is:
1. Two cable bracket guides on the PS (eyelets made from what looks like ¼” diameter steel rod - bent in a square or box shape that the E cable threads through), one connected to the 10 bolt pumpkin cover on the PS & one connected to the outboard PS portion of the axle.
2. One eyelet on the DS connected to the DS pumpkin cover.
I've gotten my MWC&P 9" mounted and will connect the E brake cables tomorrow. Off-hand it looks like these cable brackets won't be needed on the new rear end.
Anyone re-mount these on the fabbed 9" or is the board preference to just leave these off all together?

You don't need the factory ebrake brackets, the MWC rear comes with them.
I used nylon pullties to secure the ebrake cables and ABS wiring together and tied them to the rear near the center section, and looped them around to both sides.
