yoke nut torque #s??

Default yoke nut torque #s??

how much do you torque the nut on the yoke? i torqued it to 75ftlb?
i had marked it before removing it but the impact and grease erased my sharpy markings?
please help me i dont want my rear end to blow?

if you are referring to the pinion nut that is behind the U-joint there is no torque spec. You tighten it till it preloads the bearings correctly. If you didnt mess with the crush sleeve and are putting it back the way it was i would say 75 pounds should be fine. You just want to seat it on the crush sleeve without crushing the sleeve any further. In my experience it takes 150 pounds or more to get them to crush so you should be fine at 75. It should be tight with 75 pounds but still not crush the sleeve.
