question hopefully i get some answers. i blew up the org tranny and bought a used t56 with low miles but he didnt know what year car it came out of i noticed now i am turnning higher rpm before it was around 2g at 80 stock 3.42's now its turnning about 2,600 at 80 and almost 3.300 at 100 i know i need a new clutch but i doubt it is slipping to make that difference
anyway would there be a big diff in gear ratios in the earler corvette t56's

yea the 6 speeds in 93 and earlier have different gearing. i think a .62 overdrive in 6th, but they also have a shorter first gear too.
