difference between v6 and v8 10 bolt
difference between v6 and v8 10 bolt im looking at a 3.23 10 bolt out of 99 v6 firebird. is there any difference other than posi vs. open diff. its 3 channel like mine.

shouldnt be anything different except the posi unit being an open carrier (one wheel peel) on the V6 unit. Housing and stuff should be the same. Maybe somebody can chime in on whether stuff like backing plates and such are the same.
