Ordering My New Rear...Need Advice
Heres the deal, Ive got a 98 Z28 that i just dropped the rear end out of. i am ordering the new rear this coming thurs july 9th. I am getting the moser 12 bolt as i have an a4. i plan on building this thing to be a barely streetable, mostly track car. basically with a few runs around town every few months or so. just wanted your opinions on the exact setup you would get if you were in my position. the old rear is out and i am ready to order the new one. also need info on any tips for putting the new moser rear in...any problems, setbacks, etc. thanks!!

Just curious why a 12 bolt? I always thought the 9" had a better gear selection, parts offering and the ability to swap a totally different center in easily. Set it up on a bench and no shims from what I understand.

If you're building a barely streetable, mostly track car, I'd go with the Moser M9, shown here. http://www.exoticperformanceplus.com...html?item=1324 $3050.00 shipped with a spool, includes torque arm and trans crossmember. Bob
