Default major handling problems... axle culprit??

when i go WOT, the car goes ALL over the place. we replaced the panhard bar, checked the lca's, everything in the suspension seems fine, even the old panhard still looked good. the bushing for the t/a is a little beat up at the transmission mount, but thats it. the tires are fine. the feeling is similar to running on slicks that are way too low on air at the track. we cant figure it out!!! even pulled the diff cover, the internals look fine. however, the one weird thing is that with the car on in first gear on the lift, the tires look like they hop a little bit every rotation. its very subtle and only noticeable when you're really watching. any hints? im replacing the lcas anyway with aftermarket ones, but i really dont think thats the cause. the t/a wouldnt have anything to do with the side to side movement would it?

nope, stock lca mounts. that was my first thought, especially after all the foxbodies ive owned and torn torque boxes, which does feel pretty similiar. mounts and everything are good

You might check for a bent axle

how do you check for a bent axle? that was our thought too, but everything seemed fine in the diff case. id love to just chunk the 10 bolt and throw a 12 bolt or 9 bolt in, but i dont have the money right now.

Dial indicator if it's really slight. Remove the tire, put the dial on the face the wheel mounts to. If you don't see anything there (or even if you do), move the dial so it reads on the periphery of the flange. There shouldn't be hardly any runout on either surface.

okay ill try and get a dial indicator. do you think bent axles would cause the car to sway from side to side? its got a definite wiggle to it on hard acceleration, if the tires are below 30 psi its greatly magnified. im going to change out the lca's tomorrow to see if that does anything at all, even though the stock ones look fine. also going to get some new tires for the back as well.
