Thunder Racing Kit

I bought the thunder racing kit w/3:73 motives, and upgraded to the ratech deluxe install kit. I've put 450 miles on it now, doing the 500 mile break-in, and so far no noise at all. At 500 miles I'm going to change the fluid and give it hell, we'll see how it does from there!

i bought the kit at the end of last month. I ordered the ratech deluxe kit and the strange 2 series 3.73s. the strange gears are $35 more. well i got it in the mail pretty fast. I opened the box and was so disappointed. They sent me the regular ratech kit and motive gears instead and still charged the extra $35. well i emailed them, and they said to return the ratech kit and they would refund me the $35 and reimburse me for shipping. i returned the item, i still havent received the deluxe kit yet or the refunds promised to me.
dont get me wrong, the kit is an awesome deal, but their customer service is horrible. so i guess if want to buy the kit, ur just gonna have to be patient.

Couple things...
1. Good price if you get what you pay for.
2. There are different years for different kits.
3. Synthetic Oil in Eaton Positractions is a big nono.

the rear diff cover that comes with the thunder racing kit for some reason im having a hell of a time getting it to seal, it leaks fluid constantly, for me anyway not sure bout anyone else. FYI! So i am just using GM anibolic sealer it seems to be holding up thus far!
