Differential Blowing Out Fluid Please help me with some rear end issues in my road race 2001 Camaro. I am running the stock 10 bolt Torsen with a 3.42 gear. Updates include a Thunder Racing rear cover, as well as a differential cooler. I added a new differential breather after going through a couple of pinion seals, but now am blowing gear fluid out of the breather at such a high rate that I can’t finish a race. I ran a long curving tube up as high as I could, and ran this through a home made catch can before a filter. I did try dropping the fluid level a bit, but it still pushes fluid out like crazy. The new breather is located on the top of the center section, and not in line with the gears or cooler lines.
Any ideas why the rear end is building up enough pressure to push fluid out of the breather so badly, or any other ideas?

"in the line of fire" was my first thought as well. However, it was carefully placed so as not to be. After it started pumping fluid out, I re-routed the line straight up as far as I could, coiled it, and then added the catch can before the filter. Nothing helped - it still blows fluid out like it's pressurized!
Even after it had blown so much out that the level got down to where I determined it was unsafe to continue without a chance of destroying the diff (catch can obviously full, fluid coming out the filter, etc.), it continues to blow out fluid.
