Help with midwest 9 install
Help with midwest 9 install Hey guys,
Hopefully going to get most of the midwest 9 installed today. Its been over a year its been sitting. Is there a good faq for these things. I knoew there was one but cant find it. Mainly for torque specs and where to put silicone. Just little odds and ends.

It's really simple.
2 shock bolts - 22mm
2 control arm bolts - 18 or 19, I can't remember
2 torque arm bolts - 13/16
3 bolts on torque arm clamshell
remove parking brake cables from the back of the brakes
unbolt the sway bar
Not sure if you have traction control or not...so a few things may be different.
Unplug ABS sensors if you have them.
Unbolt the brake line holder but do not disconnect the brake lines. You can just push them out of the way.
I always get some zip ties and hang my calipers from the sway bar mount on the car.

Thanks for the help. For anyone going to do this by themselves ie;alone, get it prebuilt so its all one piece when you get it. This is a pain in the ****. I think Im done for the night. Get the brake lines bent and install the axles tomorrow. I hope to god the pumpkin doesnt leak.
Dis anyone have to do a lot of massaging to get the torque arm mount in? And I took my SFC's out and now none of the holes want to line up to get it back in. This really sucks.
