please help driveshaft??? I'm in the process of ordering a new driveshaft for my car it is an M6 ss.Ok here is my ???In the last cople of days i do extenssive resourses on the topic.I have a cople of options that i want to share with you guy to see your opinions.
My goal is a max of 475 rwhp.
1- dennis's ds steel it weigth a little more than the factory aluminum support up to 1000hp $295.
2-Lingenfelter aluminum 12.3 lbs so it still less horsepower $299 critical max speed 237mph support 650 hp.
3-ACTP carbon fiber 9.0 lbs support 1000hp but high price $750
4-custom made chromemoly 15 lbs $350 up to 800hp
for application i think the Lingenfelter aluminum is the best option becuase it still be ligth weigh because the aluminum material and affortable price and support more hp that what i going to use.
Please i love to see your point of view to finalize my desition.Thanks.
