tire and gear?
tire and gear? i am currently running a 26in tire with 3.90 gears, the car is spinning badly. i was thinking about changing to a 28in tire. but im afraid a 28in tire may slow me down on motor (i also have a 150 shot). so my question is if i used a 28in tire with a 4.10 gear would that help with traction? i want to go with 4.10 gears to help with the low end power. so i guess the main thing is will the 4.10s cancel out going to a 28in tire or will i have benifits?

You need to slow the tire down and if you go taller with a steeper gear, you are going to have the same problem you are now. I would try the 28" first and see what happens. also try to lower your leave rpm a little. I did that on my 68 and it quit spinning. and was more consistent.
