Default Drum to disc swap?

Ok here's the deal, i have a old rear end from my car that has the gears I'm wanting to go back to in and already setup nice but it's a drum rear and I want disc, my current rear is disc rear, I'd prefer not to have to pull gear and pinions out if possible as both are setup nice. What does it take to convert a drum 10 bolt to a disc, I'm thinking just swap axels and so on without touching the carrier and so on but I want to be sure and not jump blindy into this

I think this is all that would be needed:

Pull cover, remove c retainers
pull both axles.
remove drum brake assy, and backing plates.
put on calliper backing plates/mounting bracket
put in axles from the disc rear install c retainers and go.

I should know this weekend. Im tearing apart a drum rear that I should be able to compare to.

When I did mine, I went to a local junk yard and got the backing plates and calipers real cheap, next I got new pads, rotors, slides, banjo bolts and brake lines.

Total cost was just under $500
