rebuilding a 10 bolt ????

rebuilding a 10 bolt ???? I have the torsion diff i 272 gears02 t/a a4 in an but i want to go lower(342) and replace the diff with an eaton. My ? is with the eaton work in my housing,
also i do have the 28 spline axles,and the size of the houseing is 7.5 correct? I have t/c if that matters.

thnx i know it seemed like a dumb ? but i did do a search and i didnt really get the comf i wanted ive been a shade tree mach.for a wile but ive dont know much about rear ends and trannys ive always been lucky in the past i guess. all in all i rather ask a dumb ? than make a dumb mistake
