Driveline angle tool

Hey guys,

Wondering what driveline angle finder you guys use. If possible please post links or pictures. Im looking more into the digitals.

best bang for the buck right here... use this and a small carpenters square to change the perpendicular of the pinion flange/support to run on the same plane as the driveshaft... this makes it easier to compute the angle differences without figuring in the 90.

Sweet Ill pick it up this week. Its only been 2 years and the rear is finally all bolted in the car. need to get the tranny back in. then romp on this midwest 9 !

setting up the angles doesnt look fun though.

it's really not that hard... leave all the torque arm and pivot link bolts loose until you have the angles and alignments setup then go back over everything and install the nuts and tighten it all down. be sure to set it all up with the car at ride height(you can leave the rear springs out to help with this). the top joint of the torque arm will be for more of a coarse adjustment and us the turnbuckle to do the finer adjustment once you're close. you can also pitch the pinion angle up or down a bit with the torque arm in the front.

be sure to do your proper break-in mileage before you hammer down on it... this is essential for the lifespan/noise level of the gear set.
