I was pulling out my differential today to try to track down a vibration. When I pulled out the differential one of the carrier bearings just fell right off the differential. The diff/bearings only have about 15k miles on them, it was never run low on oil or anything like that. The bearing itself is in perfect working order, its not chewed up on the outside or seized up at all. So needless to say when I replace the differential I want to make sure this doesn't happen again.
