swapping to an auburn from a torsen will have no effect on ABS/TC.
why the 'lt1' concern with a 99 LS1 ?
you have to be concerned about carrier 'series'.
you didn't state if your auto(GU2-2.73 GU5-3.23) or stick(GU6-3.42) and what ratio you want to convert to.

First you need to find out if u need a series 2 or series 3 carrier ifu have 2.73s u need a 2 3.23 on up u need a series 3. And idk why u would wanna switch the auburn mayb a little stronger but the carriers rarely break its usually the gears that go in the 10 bolts the torsen posi will never wear out as it has worm gears to lock it whereas an auburns has clutches that will eventually wear and not lock anymore...This is especially true if you have wide tires on ur car which causes more stress on the clutches....

Usually auto guys throw in 3.73 when they upgrade gears because anything higher simply spins to many rpms on the hwy. Typically the gains are a .3-.4 in the quarter when goin from 2.73-3.73 so all in all it may not be as much for you especially since you have all that power. With that said I wouldnt drop a dime into your 10 bolt with that much hp. A couple good passes on a sticky track combined with your stall and power will leave the 10 bolt in pieces start saving up for a dana s60 (my favorite) 12bolt or 9 inch because you will soon need it.
