Default Stock LT1 DS Question..

Stock steel DS out of a 94 camaro. How much power will it hold ??? Im currently building up a 8.8" ford rear, and dont wish to run my LS1 aluminum DS anymore.. Im not making any insane power, im just wondering what the steel DS will hold.. thanks

I have seen stock steel DS lift the front wheels on cars. That doesnt mean they are made for this though.

If it counts for anything I just broke my steel driveshaft, 390rwhp.

thanks for the reply guys. i dont plan on taking it to the track all day everyday. I just wanted to see if i would be fine running it on the street over the LS1 DS with some power

I was on the street when I broke mine. And it wasn't even a clutch dump, just rolling int 1st gear hard. I'd go with something stronger.
