Being bent should not cause a problem as long as it doesn't throw a code giving you the light on the dash.
It doesn't come with anything to space it up, you have to check clearances and grind the rod down if necessary. I don't have a copy of the ABS instructions on hand but whoever installed the rear for you should of checked the clearance. Bob
