Default Driveshaft size

How do I tell what drive shaft I need. I have a moser 12 bolt I bought second hand and I dunno what the pinion yoke size is and the stock driveshaft is to small. Can I just change the yoke on the drive shaft or is it easier to buy a new drive shaft? Any help will be greatly appreciated

Most aftermarket rears will use a 1350 series U joint. I believe stock is considered a 1310 series. There are conversion U joints available but that option is clearly not the strongest. The driveline is only as strong as its weakest link and the 1310 side of a conversion U joint will only be as strong as stock.

Might as well go with an aftermarket driveshaft set up with 1350 series U joints.
