12 Bolt!!

I was wondering if i had a 12 bolt out of an old chevy muscle car(Camaro,Nova, Monte Carlo,ETC) could i make it fit my SS. IF yes would i have to get a new driveshaft. I already realize there will be some cutting and welding involved to get the correct axle tube lentgh, and swaping over suspension mouting points, panhard bar, etc., etc.

Won't fit, might as well buy a 12 bolt from either Strange or Moser. That stock 12 bolt will require a ton of work before it fits into that Camaro.

The Moser 9 inch housing and axle package at $1050.00 shipped would be about the cheapest way to go. Add a Ford 9 inch center section to it (which would be the weak link then) and you'd be much better off than with your 10 bolt. Bob
