I really hate to ask this question but....... I just bought a 1999 Z28 A4 Convertible and was wondering which rear end it had in it. I searched and gathered this info.
7.5" 10 Bolt
3.23 gear ratio
The car HAS traction control.
I am not sure how to tell if if has the 2 series or 3 series rear in it....
I am wanting to know if these are the gears for my car.

Sorry for such a new guy post but oh well. I also have a SS M6 so when the rear went in it I just bought a 9" for it haha. The Z28 is all stock and I was wanting something to hype it up a little bit.

This is wrong for so many reasons 
The rear end could be a 2.73 or a 3.23. No one can tell you what your car has. So you need to either 1. Give us cruising rpm at 60 or 70 mph, 2. See if you gear selector has a 1 position on the console, 3. Look at your codes on your door sticker and look for GU5 or GU2, 4. check and see if it has the steel or aluminum DS, or 5. Spin your driveshaft and see how many turns it takes to turn the rear wheel one revolution. All better solutions then the joke of a post I quoted. A4 SSs were only optioned with 3.23s BTW, Z28 A4s could be had with 2.73s or 3.23s.
