Default C Clip Eliminators....?

I have a 95 Caprice classic with a 8.5 10 bolt. I'm pretty sure I have an axle bearing going bad. I plan on pulling the rear apart to fix the bearing, install a TA diff cover, and hardened studs. I'm curious about c clip eliminators. The guys on the b body forums made a few good points about the brakes not fitting and the different style of bearings. Some have ball bearings and some have roller bearings. Some parts say for street use only, and some say nothing. Cant get any real info on there yet figure I'd come here and get a second opinion.

Could I daily drive with c clip eliminators? I plan on towing a boat, driving large distances and drag racing the **** out of the car. I hear they are prone to leaking? Yes/no? Can I corner hard with them?

I want to say Strange makes some that are supposed to be streetable. I'd give them a call or go through their catalog.
