Default whine in rear end

someone correct me if i'm wrong, but if i get a whine in the rear end when i'm accelerating/going uphill (when there is load placed on it), but then it goes away when i'm decelerating/going downhill, i need to adjust the front part of my rear end more toward the ground, right? i've got the UMI adustable torque arm with the T/A relocation bracket, so i have plenty of adjustment available to me.

Whining will come from inside the rear end like the gears or bearing. If the pinion angle is off it will usually cause vibration

yeah, it has vibration as well that goes away when decelerating/going downhill, but it's also much quieter, and gets noisy when accelerating/going uphill along with more vibration.

just looking to verify which direction i need to make the adjustment....the front side of the rear end does need to go down more if that's the case, right?

You need to get an angle finder and see what your pinion angle is at now and adjust for there if you need to. It needs to be set at -2 and you cant just do that by looking at it
