Will it work? Ok so I was looking for a rear end for my 96 formula A4 and came across a 95 convertible trans am 6 speed at the junkyard. I decided to go for it and went ahead and brought it home. It has the sensor right on top of the pumpkin thing and thats all i really know about it. Does anyone what gears it may possibly have and will it work on my car?
Stock Gear Ratios:
M6: 3.42
A4 Standard: 2.73 (GU2 code on the door sticker)
A4 Performance Axel: 3.23 (GU5 code on the door sticker)
WS6 and SS models came with 3.23s.
The rear will bolt right into your car. The sensor coming out of the center of the rear is for the ABS. Bob
