bent driverside axle question?
bent driverside axle question? So I bent the driverside axle when I hit a curb and I've located another axle for $60.00, But he said his is from a "traction control" rear end.
My 98 camaro ss doesnt have the traction control button above the stereo so I'm assuming it doesnt have it then..
He said I could use the axle shaft in my rear end as long as I take off the ring at the end of the one that he gives me..
Can any of you help me and confirm this?

I removed the rear carrier, drained the gear oil and took off the pinion shaft bolt and the pinion shaft..
Then i got the c clamp removed, now my problem is i cant get the axle to slide out at all...
any tips or anything, ive been trying for a half hour already..?
