rearend question... need help!

rearend question... need help! i have a 00 ss with 125hp shot of nitrous, exaust, and i am going to get some drag radials and a clutch... i have heard alot about how weak the rear end is in my car... could i just buy some moser axles or somthing to keep me from having to spend 1800.00 on a new rear end?
Problem is every part in the stock rear is weak, the ring and pinion, the posi unit and the axles are all weak. You can replace the axles then the posi uit will die etc, etc.
Some guys get great results with the stock rear and have made a lot of passes, me being one of them with an auto. With an M6 the stock rear (depending how you drive) could last a long time or break on the first pass.
