No problem man, I posted this up for that reason. The guy I talked to on the phone said "I know for a fact we don't sell loose brackets" then he talked to Matt and then told me that I could get the brackets loose. I was about to get pissed until he talked to the guy I was emailing.

And about the ladder bars the link you posted didn't work. I'm not going to do ladder bars on my car, the info I have read doesn't make it seem like a good option IMHO. The LCAs are only 19.5" long and for ladder bars to work correctly on our cars they would need to be ~38" long (what I read)

I'm going to be doing a 4 link and attaching the upper bars to the uni body. The upper bars still won't be long enough to work perfectly like a 4 link should, but it should work good for the amount of suspension travel I will have. The only thing that I'm worried about if the upper bars ripping apart from the car. I have an idea bouncing around in my head to cut out behind the seat and weld in a bar that would locate the upper bars, but I'm not sure yet. I'll see what happens in the next few weeks I guess

Your absolutely right Matt from Moser is the man to talk to if you need something done right. Got both spring pads and control arm brackets for $90. Ill worry with the torque arm bracket later.

Ok so the F-body specific brackets are a joke and the coil spring mounts are just universal too

But I called and got a hold of MWC and my watts has been ordered I can't wait for that to get here

Heres the brackets I got from moser

I was told that the brackets had the shock mounts on them and I assumed that the coil mounts would actually found like the factory mounted them, behind the axle not on top like these are suppose to be mounted

I'm going to cut off the factory shock mount and weld it to these, but it just pisses me off that they told me that they were factory specific brackets.

My suggestion is to get ahold of MWC or Racecraft and order brackets from them. They are about $200 more than these brackets from moser but at least they are f-body brackets

Damn. Thats what I have to look forward too huh. Ill be sending mine back then. Thats rather rediculous. I think MWC also sends the tq arm mount with there kit. There stuff is nice but I didnt want a expensive housing when I could have just ordered one. I think ill use the factory mounts like 96lt4c4 did his. Just more work.

When I emailed MWC I told them I just needed the lcas and spring mounts and they said $275 shipped

I would reuse the factory mounts, but then I would have $70 in drop brackets and having to modify them for 3" tubes, plus cutting them off and blah blah blah. I think using the moser mounts with the drop built in and cutting off the factory shock mounts sounds like a better/easier solution for me. Plus they are beefy And the more I think about it the price isn't too terrible considering the drop brackets are more than these weld on brackets are.

I'm just disapointed that they are stated as Camaro/Firebird brackets and they deffinately are not

The shock mount is integrated to the control arm brackets and would have to be cut apart. Founders performance has bolt on and powdercoated (red or black) drop brackets for 58 bucks shipped on ebay. I got those and there best adj. Lca's for 180 I think and there pretty nice.

Either way, $58 for drop brackets that have to be welded onto the factory mount that still has to be cut off and modified to fit a 3" tube. Or these moser brackets for $60 that fit a 3" tube, have drop brackets already there, and I can cut off the factory shock mount and weld it to this bracket. Much easier to do the 2nd option IMHO

Give em hell man. Make sure to post some pics and Ill do the same. I already have the drop brackets and control arms on my car so I think I am gonna send those moser brackets back and utilize what I have. Ill take pics and post as well. The guy in the 9" thread was really able to make his stock brackets look and fit good.

Well I emailed Matt a couple more times and expressed my disapointment about not getting the shock mounts with the LCA brackets and it sounds like they are in the mail So my day just got a little bit better

But if anyone wants a set of coil spring mounts I'll ship them out for $25 (I paid $30 + shipping)

Thats great. Just stinks that you have to spend all this quality building time waiting on brackets.

Well I have been working between 50 and 60 hours a week for the past 4 months. I don't really have time to get anything done on my one day off a week (sometimes I get 2 days off). And I still have to order 4 heims, the tabs for the upper bars, the threaded inserts, some DOM tubing, and a few other things before I can even install the rear empty. Then I need axles, gears, trac lok rebuild kit, have my friend set up my gears, brakes, adapting u joint, and my new rear wheels and tires. My little project got out of hand I guess :/

But my wife wants to go on a shopping spree next weekend and spend some cash since I have been the one doing all of that, so maybe I'll have some time to tack up some brackets and see how its going to look.

But in a couple weeks I should have a pile of parts come in and then I think I'll start my build thread (everyone is doing it now )
