Hi,
you will experience about 40 rpm increase for each mph over the stock gears. Tire size also plays into the equation. Your final drive ratio is probably .75 give or take a little. Highway rpm will increase as your drive shaft will turn 4.1 times per revolution of the tire compared to 3.2 which is stock. 4.10 could be to much depending on your choices of drag/sreet or combination of both. Do your research as each .25 change in ratio is about .2 to .3 in the 1/4 mile......
There is a break point where more is actually less..........good luck and have a blessed day!!!!!!!!!!!!!jim

thanks for the detailed info. i want it to lean more towards a street car but still a few track days here and there. luckily and is not my dd. what pushed me to the 4.10 is im in the middle of my 427 swap and going to be runnng a 248/254 cam . my old set up only made power from like 4-6800 i always felt that if i could of kept my rpms up id be in my power band more of the time. i run the common 17x11 315/35/17 wheel tire combo. so hopefully 4.10s will make me happy bc i already ordered them
