10bolt to 12 bolt swap writeup
1) Jack Car up.
2) Support the rear and then un bolt it from the shocks, Lower control arms, pan hard rod/bar, as well as remove brakes and hang them up so not to messup the lines. Disconnect TQ arm and drive shaft. OR leave both and disconnect the TQ arm from the trans tail shaft and as you pull out, it comes out once piece. This is a VERY broad over view but a competent guy with basic tools can disassemble fairly easy. Having a helper makes it much easier.
3) DEPENDING on what rear your installing there is some little differences. I will speak only on the 12 bolt (from Moser) as that is my exp. 9" guys I would think will chime in.
4) IN regards the the BMR TQ arm on a Moser, you need to cut the TQ arm as the casting does not allow both sets of holes to be used. I would buy a driveshaft for the application, there are PST shafts our sponsor sells. I personally use Denny's Nitrous Ready D/S with great success. I recommend painting the rear as it will rust. Also follow the break in directions. But also expect the rear end to whine a little.
You need to remove your brake caliper backing plates and have them press the bearing on after they get slipped on so basically unless you have a press, your going to have to either buy a extra set or have the car apart while you get them pressed.
5) Take your time, no need to rush, be prepared for things to break your ***. Double check and double tighten bolts. USE LOCTITE so keep things from vibrating loose.
Also make sure you get your E brake set correctly and adjusted properly.
