12-bolt or S60 My car is an automatic w/ a 3800 converter and a chassis mount tq arm. I normally run a 27x11.50 hoosier qtp. I do plan to shoot the car (175-200hp).
I can get a 12-bolt for half the price of the s60, but it does have some whine on decel. The s60 would be new from strange.
Sway me on which rear end should be purchased. Why is one better than the other? What are your experiences with either?
I don't want a rear end that's going to be loud as all hell after a few hard launches. I have delt with that with the last 3 10 bolts I have set up. They are dead silent until they see track time, then they eat pinions.

We prefer the S60 based off feedback from customers alone.
Also keep in mind that if the 12-bolt has gear noise now that getting rid of it means starting with a new gear set, then hoping it doesn't come back like they are prone to doing.
