whining noise

whining noise Idk what it is but it sounds like its coming from my rear end. It Mainly whines when I apply power. Could it be my rear end? Is it normal? I usually have the radio up so I hadn't heard it before now.

If it's only when you apply power it likely isn't the rear end. Rear-end problems are usually wheel-speed based and not engine-speed based. I could be wrong, but that's just usually the case.
