Going to get a 9" from Moser, have been doing a little research and see a lot with the rear go 3" narrow. What is most can narrow on each side before issues with brackets and frame and brakes come up? Thanks.

usually about -3 per side is as much you can go with a Moser housing. Our housing can go -4.5, and then -5.5 with narrowed brackets.

Give us a call when you are ready to buy a rearend. We are direct dealers for Strange, Moser, and manufacture the ever popular MWC 9 inch fabricated rearends and have the best pricing guaranteed on any rearend combination for your f-body car.

Like ssvert mentioned already -3 is the most common based off wheel choses, how ever we have and can do any thing you need to suit your needs, we have customers that need -2.25 done for the wheels they have and done it to those specs.

All though doing a narrowed LCA bracket is not that big of a pain as we can get you into a set of LCA'S with the correct offset bushing for the chassis and rear end side.

Keep in mind narrowing the housing past a certain point will also mean you will have to get into mini tubs to get the correct back spacing for your wheel fitment. It all plays together.
