Gear Decision
My cars are usually MAINLY daily drivers. But I occasionally do enjoy a trip to the road course and to the drag strip...
This will be my first venture into a 6spd and definitely the first Camaro I have owned, so I ask...
3.73 or 4.10s ?
I do drive on the highway, and without prior knowledge of how the T56 cruises in 6th on the highway, I want to make sure I keep the RPM's at a reasonable level.
I will keep on searching as I have been, but I want to hear some opinions from people with both gearsets and see what you like and dislike about both gear-sets.
Thanks Guys!

According to it, with the 6th gear in the M6 being .50, my tires being 26.2" Diameter, and a 4.10 gear ratio, right around 2000rpm should be 75mph.
Using the link you provided and the specs I came up with this for a 3.70 gear ratio. (2000 RPM 84.26 MPH) (1500 RPM 63.20 MPH) Granted not the best 1/4 mile gear ratio but depending on what road course you are at it might be a decent gear ratio for it.
With that being said the guys/gals that are not concerned with gas mileage and want a little more kick basically have gone with the 4.10 ratio.
I would not put ANY $$$$$ into a 7.625 rear especially owning a 6speed.........been there done that! One trip and 4 passes to the track on DRs and about 5 months of street driving and the teeth were bad on the pinion gear and 5 teeth missing off the ring gear....was fun while it lasted but the money i spent could have gotten me a much better power handling rear...........
