Default ARP wheel stud?

alright guys putting a 8.8 in my car with upgraded axles, anyways is anyone breaking the replacement ARP wheel studs for our cars? http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ARP-100-7708/
or would it be necessary to upgrade to the 5/8 ARP ones that are longer? i really don't want to buy the lugs that the stud goes threw.. like to keep the street look.. so i guess is anyone having problems breaking the ARP replacement studs? also my car is a h/c/i LT1 A4 with ss3600 and gets sprayed 150.. so i just don't want to break anything.. thanks guys!

The ARP studs should be plenty fine for what you are doing with your car. 12mm is stock size, and you can always go 1/2" also. You have to have race style wheels to use 5/8 studs anyway as they wont fit in any stock wheel that I know of.

There's people out there running 8 seconds without 5/8 studs... you'll be fine. Best thing to do is make sure to keep the lugs tight.

there is just about any style lug you want. I'd decide on what wheels you want and then get the correct studs and lugs to work with them. Give us a call later today and we can get you setup with a good deal on the wheels and the correct lugs and studs.
