Default Reluctor Ring?

I am changing out my 2 series carrier for a 3 series. Do I need a new reluctor ring? Mine is a non-TC car. I went to GM Parts Direct and they showed one ring for all non-TC F-bodies. I want to make sure.

26029185 is the 3 series reluctor ring. It is a different number than the 2 series ring.

the relucter ring in a series 2-3 has one,It's in side the carier w/o trackion control its just for the ABS only ,The series2-3 With trackion control has 2 rings thay are on each end of the axles in side the disk brake drum that controls the ABS and the trackion control or each axle independenty . The rearends will work but you will haft to change the hole rearend the axles will not enter change I dont beleave .The axles with rings are longer because of the ring placement on the axle. maybe wrong

I have an SLP take-off 3 series carrier. Would the wheel already be attached to the unit, or is it something I will have to add? I thought I'd have to add it. If not, I'm home free.

You will have to buy the # I posted. Even at full list price, they are not very expensive. Examine the carrier bearings carefully on the SLP carrier. Everyone I've seen had 1 or both bearings damaged from mishandling.

Thanks - there's a guy here who has one and it is inexpensive. Thanks also for the tip on the bearings. I looked at them and they seemed fine, but I did not inspect them closely.
